Does my wife's G-352a sent with the I-130 need to be the original signed sheets or can they be copies?

Our problem is that paper is slightly larger in Germany, we don't want to upset anyone by sending a bulky package.

All signatures MUST be original - people have had their petitions returned for this reason.

What about trimming the paper and then manually setting the paper size for the printer if you're concerned. :)

Original signed sheets all 4 pages. I don't think they will have a problem with page size, as long if it is close, they just clip it in a case folder.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Definitely need to be original signatures on the G-325A's. We got an RFE because we sent in photocopies.

What's the problem? A4 and US 8-1/2x11 paper sizes are close enough that there is no problem with the minor difference. (Gives me an idea for a poll, though.....)

I had my wife print the application sign it and send it to me. My wife being in India. The size of the paper was slightly larger in length and shorter in width than the standard paper we use here in the states and the color was not white.. it had a slight ting of blue if i recall correctly.. I sent what the orignals my wife sent me to USCIS and they did not have any issues with that.. you should be good to go.. but again it needs to be the orginal keep photocopies for yourself though!

Thanks again for all the input! I'm just trying to be 100% complete, especially since I'm not yet familiar with how the USCIS thinks.

Our I-130 is almost ready.

ps - do you guys think it is a good idea to send my wife's translated birth cert. although it is not requested? I've seen a few people receive RFE for this.

It would probably be a good idea to do so.. personally I did not have to translate the birth certificate, but I would do anything I can to avoid an RFE.. it will just add more time in getting your application processed and also add to your fustration level to boot!
