Hi there:

I went to biometrics on November 10th. No , I have not received anything , no information about the card or anything related to it. But what i did was I went to get my passport stamped at the Federal Plaza office and they stamped it with the I-551 CR6 for one year. The lady told me "Congratulations you are now a permanent resident you can work and travel" and the card should take approxximaately between 2 months to 6 months. They approved the I-751 on October 10th. Let me know if you receive any information or the card.

The good thing is that on April I can apply for Citizenship so...

Hi Ed:

I guess by mistake you typed CR6. It should be IR6.

Edcol,

I am not clear on your post above...

When you went to get your stamp at Federal Plaza were you (a) waiting for the I-751 to be approved, or (B) had it been approved an you were waiting for the 10-year GC?

Thanks!

Hi Ed,

I just made an infopass appointment to get my passport stamped...Is it a difficult procedure, do you need to explain the reason why you need that stamp? Because I received my NOA back in November extending my residence but I want to invite my mom over for a visit in April for the first time, and they will require some proof of my residence(don't think that expired GC will work ;-).

Naturalization:

June 6, 2009 - mailed N-400

June 8, 2009 - delivered to the Lockbox at 2:47 PM

June 11, 2009 - check cashed

June 15, 2009 - received NOA1 (June 10th - NOA1 date)

June 22, 2009 - received biometrics letter

July 10, 2009 - Biometrics

July 27, 2009 - Interview Letter received

September 16, 2009 - Interview @ 1:40 PM (Approved!)

September 26, 2009 - Oath Letter received

October 14, 2009 - Oath Ceremony @ 11:00 AM

I am a U.S. Citizen!

October 23, 2009 - applied for US passport

October 29, 2009 - US Passport received

November 6, 2009 - updated SSN
