I just have a question about NBI..i sent NVC the green form but for immigration requirements...I never knew that i have to put all the AKA's (i have discrepancy on birth cert.my second name is spelled wrong)so i did get another NBI clearance.should i send the NVC right away or wait for an RFE.or i will just bring the new clearance on my interview.(my case is one week closer to case complete according to an NVC rep)...What is the best thing to do?Please advise.....Thank you all in advance..I think ill wait for another 30 days because RFE's takes that long to review...:cry:

NVC doesn't put much weight on the AKA thing, only the embassy. As long as you submitted your green NBI clearance to NVC, they will consider your case complete (provided no other document/form is missing).

You can bring the new green NBI clearance with AKA to your interview. Good luck.

No do not send another to NVC, it is very possible they will not give you an RFE, just the same wait for them to ask. It is the embassy that gets more demanding with the AKA.

You can have your birth cert corrected. Since it's a middle name, it's not a big deal. My wife's first name was missing from her original birth certificate! It took about 3 weeks to get it resolved with a new/revised NSO birth certificate. Better to be safe than sorry!

And, no, do not send anything to NVC unless they specifically request it.
