Biometric processing issues!

I had my biometric done today(alexandria Va.), and my hand are kinda sweaty, cleand my hands with alcohol and wiped it. The lady had a hard time registering my fingers, she said i have no prints! (Who in the world have no finger prints?!) some of my fingers were rejected. She said I might comeback again! After that she took a picture and I signed. She gave back my i797c with the ASC Site Code: XDE. Is it true that i might have to redo my scanning? How many have the same situation like mine? Will it delay my application?

I would call the USCIS and ask what's the procedure. If the first person is not helpful ask for a tier-2 officer. I would assume you have to re-do your fingerprints and/or be sent to your local police station to get that done. If you get it done quickly then I think it won't delay your process too much.

I had my fingerprints rejected when I was doing my ROC. I had my fingerprints taken at the local ASC electronically and with ink. When I was notified that my fingerprints were illegible I was abroad so I went to the local police, had them fingerprint me (plus I had to get certificates of good conduct from all the places I lived 5 years prior to that), and sent everything to the USCIS. My 10-year GC was approved shortly after. That was 6 years ago. So not sure much has changed.

Mine failed the first time as well, for ROC. I was sent a second appointment letter, and had to go back for another try. They were fine the second time. If they were not, I would have had to get a police clearance for every place I'd lived since arriving in the USA.

It happens more often than you would think.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

If your prints are not accepted then you will be sent a second biometrics appointment letter and you'll have to go in and try again. If those prints are also rejected, you'll be sent an RFE (Request for Evidence) instructing you to obtain a police clearance report from your local authorities (for every city you've lived in in the US) and to send it in to USCIS.

Thanks guys. Should i wait for a notice or they let you know right away after the biometric?

Is there any tips to enhance finger prints? My hand is sweaty is lotion might not work. I always rubber gloves at work, you think that is why?
