Hi guys,

I arrived here in the US mid April. My husband and I got married on April 30th. We have applied for adjustment of status and had my biometrics appointment on June 11th.

We are planning to travel to NYC via plane and I am wondering if I'm going to have any trouble. Can anyone let me know?

That's only a domestic flight and you won't go through the immigration, so you shouldn't have any issue. You can use your passport as an ID. Safe travels! :)

Edit: It might be a good idea to bring a copy of your NOA for the I-485 as well, just in case.

Domestic travel is no problem. You can freely travel anywhere within the US and its territories. You just need ID.

Someone that entered on a K-1 cannot travel abroad and re-enter the US without AP or a green card.

~ Moved from K-1 Process to Working & Traveling During US Immigration - topic is travel, not K-1 process ~

Travel on any domestic flight you wish. Just make sure you have your passport and visa with you, as you will need US valid ID to board the plane.

On a domestic flight, there is no screening at arrivals. The most they will do is compare your baggage ticket to the tag on your suitcase to make sure you have the correct one. On departure, they will simply screen you and your bags for any contraband and check your ID against your ticket.

Happy traveling.
