My company is sending out invite letters to a colleague in Bangladesh, to attend a training seminar in the USA for 1 week. He has asked us to include his wife and child in the invitation letter, so that he may bring them along for a visit to the US. Should we or can we do that legally and successfully?

Your company can send out an invitation for him.

What is the business reason for your company to ask for his visitor visas for his family?

Doesn't it seems to weaken your business reason case to invite him when you also invite his family who has no business reason to accompany him?

In addition, the reason for coming to the US is marginally important. He still needs to show strong ties to overcome the presumption that all visa applicants intend to immigrate. His family coming with him is doesn't make them strong ties to home.
