Ahmed is in Casa right now picking up his visa.

TIME TO DANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dance::dance::dance:

And it gets better! I already bought my ticket to go to Morocco in a couple of weeks, so there's a very good chance he'll be flying home with me. DANCE DANCE DANCE :dance::dance:

WOW that is great news! Congratulations! Make sure he has over 6 months on his passport before it expires. They won't let him travel if he has less than 6 months on his passport. That is a lesson we learned the hard way. Enjoy your trip to Morocco and congratulations again!

Thanks all for the great tips and well-wishes. God Bless :)

Did you ever decide about the plane ticket?

Pray with me Forrest! Dear God, make me a bird so I can fly far. Far, far away from here..... Dear God, make me a bird so I can fly far. Far, far away from here!

It's total weirdness. For him to come back on the same flight with me is over 2000 bucks, and it makes no sense because my round-trip ticket was hardly 800! I did find a flight that leaves a week later, for about 700 dollars. We're just trying to figure out whether or not he really needs to go through JFK and get the work permit. It's up for debate as to whether or not the work permit is going to help us get the SSN faster/easier.

Sorry but I am not happy  for you. Good luck with your future together. I am glad that you are not being tortured like some of us.

I don't know why you would even post this in the first place. If you can't be happy for anyone then don't make it known and don't expect anyone to congratulate you when it's your time.

Oh and congratulations on the visa you two!

Have him try checking with the local Royal Air Maroc office. Sarah suggested that for us and found a good deal going that way.

Congratulations to both of you! Hope you'd be able to get a reasonable price for his ticket, so you could travel to US together! Way to go! I'd love to bring my husband the same way with me!!! But afraid to use my vacation time for that - we'll need it when he's over, whenever that is!

Say "hi" to Morocco for me!!!

Try bringing some Moroccan spices back if you and your fiance like them - they pack them nicely in the store - I had no problem! As long as you declare EVERYTHING!

Have a nice stay and a nice trip back!

Tanya

Met online - May 2004

Met in person - August 2004

Got married - May 2005

Filed I-130 - July 2005

Filed I-129 - August 2005

Interview - February 2006 - 221(g) - still under investigation.

Another useless interview - July 2006 - got nowhere!

August 23, 2007 - he's finally here!
