After reading many of Private's posts and getting to know her writing style a bit, I didn't take her comment to mean anything personal against the OP. I took it to mean she couldn't "get happy" for her because she is drained from her own situation, but she still wished her luck and said it was a good thing not everyone is going through really ugly processes (just what Kiyah suggested).

I don't know the OP, but reunion is wonderful, congratulations.

I am very happy to see that someone can read. But lets not make this trend about my comment.

Oh I can definitely read. However interpreting what anyone posts may not always be easy and I certainly do not know you very well. When I read your post I thought "that is an awful thing to say to someone." Not trying to put you out, that is definitely not my style. That is how I read your post ... and I have been exactly where you are sitting right now with a returned petition, so I know exactly how you feel when reading about others actually getting their visa.

Sorry, didn't mean to steer the thread in another direction...back to the congrats that are in order please :)

Sorry but I am not happy :mellow: for you. Good luck with your future together. I am glad that you are not being tortured like some of us.

Im sorry it pains you, I know exactly how difficult it is to sit here and wait while everyone else seems to skip ahead of you. Ahmed and I have had our fair share of torture during this process, too. I can appreciate your unhappiness, but I would have preferred you not display it in this manner, it was most offensive to my fiance.

just want to wish you congratulations and wish you a safe trip there and home with him. it is nice to be able to bring him home with you as i did. if you have any questions about the process coming home..let me know..just went through it almost 2 weeks ago..

And it gets better! I already bought my ticket to go to Morocco in a couple of weeks, so there's a very good chance he'll be flying home with me. DANCE DANCE DANCE :dance::dance::dance:

I am happy for you and congratulations!!!! :thumbs:

There was a point, a few months ago, I could almost taste this moment!!!! I heart beats a million times a minute when I see approval after approval, whether its here or somewhere else. But here touches me in a way that I can not describe. I am a big cry baby. Abdel keeps telling me to stay outta here if it hurts so much..... :no: I CAN'T!!!!!!!!!!

Yall know how it is...... but something keeps pullin me back!!!!!!

Pray with me Forrest! Dear God, make me a bird so I can fly far. Far, far away from here..... Dear God, make me a bird so I can fly far. Far, far away from here!

Awww, thank you :luv: I couldnt help but cry when Ahmed told me he got the call Tuesday morning. I was at work and they could hear me wailing all the way down the hall. Immigration makes cry-babies out of everyone LOL.

Congrats on your visa :dance::dance:

Oh my. I know exactly what you mean. On my way back last time I had Mrs. Bartles and James sitting in front of me. She had four bottles of wine (no lie) at every meal (even breakfast) and used the elastic strap from the sleep mask to make some sort of ridiculous half ponytail with a lopsided chunk of hair on the top of her head. ::::shudder::::

However, if Ahmed and I get to sit together on the way home we might wind up building a fort from the blankets and pillows. Hee hee hee. :blush:

I had entertained the idea of packing one suitcase and putting it inside a larger, empty one so Id have more room to bring back goodies. Do you think he'll fit in a Samsonite? ;)
