hi everyone, 2 weeks ago, i applied for my daughters crba and passport, but was given 221g form and it says an additional documents is required to be submitted and done, so last week, via air21fedex updated us that the documents has been delivered directly to american citizenship services. so i waited for their call or text/email on what to do next but until now there was no message from the embassy... i am just curious if they have opened it already and their final decision... will i just go to embassy to follow up my application? Thank u sooomuch! hope u can help me....

It can take anywhere from a couple days, to a couple months depending on their case load. You can email them to get an update or make an appointment to follow up in person.

It's amazing how many questions can be resolved with a 2 minute Google search...

It's super hard to get in touch with someone there. CRBA phone lines are only open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2-4pm. Imagine how busy those lines get and if you don't have a landline, it can get expensive.

To OP, USEM has 3 mail rooms so it could take up to 2 weeks before your docs reach the right person.

Well i always called them around 1:58pm nd it works.. Before 2pm u should start calling them.. It will work ..
