Hi i am really in need of help.My husband lives in Dubai.As per Dubai law people live on visa there.My husband is also on work visa,they have to renew it every two years.And if in case employer lays you off then your visa gets cancelled and you have to go out of his country. IF you find new company then you will have to stay in Dubai for two years and continue there job if not you will be banned from that country.Now problem is that my husband's department is shutting down and so his job will end in July this year.So in short he has job untill last of july.WE just got approved. I was wondering if we could expedite his case on this behalf.. Please help.

Approved as in NOA2 at USCIS so your file is being sent to NVC?

If so all you can do is request an expedite with NVC and see. No one can tell you yes or no. But you need to act now so they don;t start processing you and you are stuck.

Call NVC now and request an expedite they will tell you the next steps.

i called NVC but the number doesnt go through please suggest ..ur help is appreciated

Try emailing them. Best time to call is first when they open 7am Eastern time and close to midnight.

what do u mean? As coz he has no one living back there,no place to live,he and his family have been living all life in dubai and keep renewing their visas every two years.

All you can do is request. They will either say yes or no. If its that dire of a situation I guess I don;t understand the hesitance. Get in trouble? Foe what a request?

i appreciate ur concern. by trouble all i meant was so worse case scenario.. if they dont think its a cause to expedite they will go with their regular speed right? not that since i requested expedite it will get my case into further extra processing just in case its not approved for expedite .. m i correct?

in short it wont affect my case all they will do is either accept the expedite request or deny it and process to their regular speed?

Correct it doesn't effect your case. You just are in the queue like everyone else for your embassy is all. No penalty to you.
