Hello to all . I was wondering if there is anyone going through the Atlanta office. Ive mailed the I485 and the AP for myself and my daughter on Feb 6/06 to Chicago and reciced NOAs for all on the 10th of Feb. Our checks were cashed on Feb 14/ 06 and we were touched Feb 16th and 19th. And that is the end of all communication. I have not recieved a bio appt or heard any word about our APs (we were hoping to return to Canada for a weeks visit in May) Is this normal? I have seen quite a few people on here with similar timelines that recieved thier Bio appointments already. Is Atlanta slower then the rest? Should I call or just hold out a while longer. Getting nervous in Georgia :unsure:

My daughter's AP was mailed Sept. 7/05, and approved Oct. 25/05 (documents received in the mail Oct. 28/05).

So May should be okay for the trip, but of course, don't make any plane reservations until you get your approval, just in case.

Oct. 8/08... Applied in person for U.S. Passport

Oct. 22/08... U.S. Passport received

Apr. 6/05... DS-230, Part I faxed to Vancouver Consulate

May 26/05... K-2 Interview - APPROVED!!!!

Sept. 5/05... Entered U.S.

Sept. 7/05... I-485 & I-131 sent to CLB

Feb. 22/06... AOS Interview - APPROVED!!!!! (Passport NOT stamped)

Dec. 4/07... I-751 sent to NSC

May 23/08... 10-Yr. PR Card arrives in the mail

Mar. 22/11.... N-400 sent to AZ

June 27/11..... Interview - PASSED!!!

July 12/11..... Oath Ceremony

mailed ours the end of december and no word....it takes awhile

took me about 3 months from the date i mailed out the application to the date i got my appointment letter.. theres still plenty of time to get your biometrics! good luck!

Thanks for the replies. I would still like to hear from anyone going through Atlanta so I can compare time lines. I guess I'll just wait for a couple more weeks. Good luck to all going through this and congrats to those who made it! :D

my son and I went through Atlanta look at my signature or time line and that should give you an idea..... seems the AP/EAD is not TOO bad for time but the AOS seems to take longer

Lifting conditions

Oct 14th 08 ..... Mailed the I-751. Back in the system we go

Oct 18th 08 ..... NOA receipt date

Oct 20th 08 ..... Check has been cashed, waiting on the NOA1 and Biometrics appointment now.

Oct 24th 08 ..... NOA arrives in post.

Nov 13th 08 ..... Receive date for Bio-metrics in Atlanta.

Nov 28th 08 ..... Bio-metrics appointment.

Feb 18th 09 ..... Date of decision to remove conditions on permanent residency.

Feb 23rd 09 ..... Received notification on approval ( via snail mail ). Green card on order.

Feb 26th 09 ..... Card production ordered. Pleas wait 30 days ( as per case status on USCIS home page ).

Mar 7th 09 ....... My 10 yr green card arrives.

Apr 22nd 09 ..... Sons 10 yr green card finally arrives( after a nudge at VSC from the USCIS helpline)

Going to take a little break from the immigration stuff.
