NOA = Notice of Action

You'll generally get a NOA1 which is your receipt of the package, and a NOA2 which is the approval and step before its sent to the NVC

You need to make copies of them as during AOS you will need them . It cost a few bucks to order new ones.

If you look on the VisaFAQ page at the bottom there is a hyperlink for all the abbreviations. I found it when I was tryng to figure out all the initials. Good luck.
