Questions about GC!

After 2,5 months waiting, I finally get my GC.

I have questions.

Where do you keep your GC?

Do you carry it with you everywhere you go? or you leave it at home?

Do we really have to put it in the small envelope that came with it?

Is it ok to give copy front and back of my GC if a workplace that will hire me need it as a document at work?

I would suggest carrying it with you at all times. My wife got pulled over when the police ran her license it showed she was a legal resident he asked if she had her green card on her which she didnt He told her to always carry it but that was it no ticket or anything came of it.

Does she put the GC in the small envelope that came with it when she received it?

You should always carry your GC with you. It is stated on the letter when they mailed the GC.

Use the small envelope that came with it.

The envelope provides protection for the GC, then she can put it in her wallet or card case.

Is it safe to give copy of our GC to workplace if they ask it?

Yes you can make copies of it we had to for insurance and a few other places Keep the envelope it came in also it has directions on what to do in case it is lost or stolen. The little card sleeve is to protect it I would use it but its not mandatory but I do believe it protects it
