Hello to all,

Let me start off by first saying that I did try to find the answer to my question but was unsuccessful in doing so, so please forgive me if I have posted this in the wrong place or if I am asking a repetitive question.

My quick question is: When submitting your documents for review, that displays your full social security number, is it ok to blacken/block out a portion of your social security number, just as security precaution for yourself?

Your application has the SSN on it, so there is no point in blacking it out on supplemental evidence.

besides, you're sending it to the US government. They will find out who you are anyhow. They gave you the SSN in the first place!

Yes, I am aware of that. I’m not trying to hide myself, just with so much going on these days, I’m just trying to protect myself as much or any way possible.
