Not sure about CPA studies, but in general if you get a great score in GRE & TOEFL and can get into reputed Universities, after 1st or 2nd semester one will be able to find Teaching Assistant position, which would result in student's fees getting waived. (Most of the tuition fees plus monthly stipend).

From your other thread he already got denied for a tourist visa. Not looking good for student visa either, sorry. He needs to prove some of the same things, and if he already could not prove them...

He wasn't in the interview a good 5 minutes. They made up their minds for whatever reason, unknown to us. They did however, tell him that he should tell me to file for a K1 Visa. I think they just like humiliating people and making money. We didn't realize how the appt would go, but after the denial we cried and just felt like all the preparation was all in vain. I have several of my Nursing colleagues that are from Kenya and they informed me after the appt that it's like only 10% who actually get approved. One came through lottery and the other happens to come from a wealthy family.

Most Nigerians are denied tourist visas for lack of ties. The ones that bring the stats up are those that had one before and are renewing.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Thats it, you are not going to spend a lot of money on US qualifications without clear career path.

I mean who actually has money to pay for a whole years worth of school? I'm American and I don't. It's just crazy how they have all this set up. They don't realize that some of the most intelligent people happen to not be Natural born American citizens.

That is fine although the US has it's share of high IQ people. There are fine educational institutes all over the world. If you want to study in the US you should be able to pay for that out of your own pocket and not expect the US to pay for your education. Maybe your country will sponsor your studies if you are really triple 9 material.

Who is they?

Funding further education is a major issue in any Country, 3 or 4 years would be the norm, not one.

When I went to school one semesters tuition was more than my family's gross annual income. Between grants, scholarships and loans I made it through.

Oh ok Pickle, probably so, but it would have been nice to know before spending all that money and traveling 8 hours to Abuja for the appt. I think we will try going with the VisaNow program, instead of not knowing for sure what is the best way. Has anyone tried any of the Visa programs?

It seems to be one of the many services wanting to take you money to fill out some forms. If fishing for a long shot visa they aren't going to do a better job at the forms than you will yourself and if you aren't willing to put the time into a job and proper package for a visa there is a decent chance of getting then you probably have little chance of a good interview. For high fraud consulates there services are usually a terrible idea.
