Hello Everyone. I was wondering if anyone here has ever filed for their fiance who lives in Gujarat, India.

My fiance lives in gujarat and we were just wondering what type of special questions do we need to prepare for. Do they harass you because you are from gujarat (because the customs for gujarat are very strict to some families).

We are a newer generation couple and both of our families are on board with her leaving India unmarried, but sometimes I've heard that they don't believe you just because you are from gujarat. So, if anyone has had the same situation, please share your experience. Thank you.

Me - US Citizen

Fiance - Indian resident, Gujarat

Filing - K1 visa

Consulate - Mumbai, India
