Why is Obama taking out military leaders?

Under direct orders from the POTUS, yes. I think that it would only be fair that if the motley crew will hold Obama responsible for everything under the Sun, they should at least be consistent and give credit where credit it due.

You're asking too much. Remember the mantra, if you don't hate him, you're in love with him. He's a tyrant and a sissy. He's racist against white people and doesn't help out the black community either. He's a Muslim and hates God. He's the right's version of Candyman or the Boogeyman.

He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it.

Reckon I have ever said any of that?

If you do a quick browse of the history, you'll see this is what's said on a daily basis here. Every single action Obama makes is wrong, even if it's right. He uses military action, he's a law breaking tyrant. He does nothing, he's a mom jeans wearing sissy. He speaks as engagements, he's dumb. He plays golf, he's lazy. He tries to make laws to help people, he's abusing his authority.

I personally don't know why folks here obsess over him so much. All we hear is how we worship him, yet we're not talking about 24/7.

Dave, you can ignore me if you like. I guess calling someone out for their racist remarks has that drawback.

In all fairness I do not believe Marvin was referring to you.

Correct. I was talking about the collective comments made here by Obama detractors. It's all the rage, whatever Obama does, don't agree with him. No matter what it is.

What's even funnier is I'm on Unclebeer's ignore list, but he can't stop talking about me(when he's here).

No need. I only have two idiots on ignore. You have your issues, as we all do, but I don't consider you an idiot.

I WILL say, however, that Obama HAS broken laws, even his own that he signed after taking office. But I guess no one in the justice system feels he has done anything bad enough to warrant an arrest or impeachment. Not my call, and I know I will never get a vote on the subject except perhaps in an inconsequential manner on this forum. :)

I hope not.

Filed: Timeline

Some were let go due to failures and others due to disagreements with the President.

Lets put this in historic perspective shall we. There are two examples I can think of right off the top of my head where the President sacking generals was a good thing and where the President failing to sack a general was a huge mistake.

1. Lincoln tore through many generals before getting to Grant.

2. Truman failed to sack Macarthur in time.

Of course I admit, those were during wartime not peace.

I wasn't talking about you, but commenting on the mindset of some folks here.

I'm thinking it was a guy in a mask. They used to do it in Mission Impossible all the time ?

This is also the main plot device in Scooby Doo.

Hmm, a version of this debunked by snopes (not that it needed anything other than a feeble brain). http://www.snopes.com/politics/conspiracy/citizens.asp

I love it when the first thing an article says is that you won't find this info in the lame stream media. That reeks of quality journalism.

Still can't get over the fact he got Bin Laden, eh?

What does any of that have to do with Obama giving the go ahead to get OBL

I do agree Obama gave the go ahead . Thumbs up

In fact it's the only thing that has happened during his tenure he did take responsibility for.
