I received an RFE today for my I-184. They are saying my income doesn't meet the federal poverty level.

Since mailing in the I-184 I have started a new job which satisfies the income requirement and more.

When responding to the I-184 can I just submit a letter from my new employer?

Do I need to submit a new I-184 as well?

Thanks.

I would get a sealed letter of employment with start date, listing full time employment, with salary information. I would also submit all available pay stubs since you just started. if income is not sufficient also include any proof liquid assets to cover gaps. Of course all income and asset must be sufficient to satisfy 125% of federal poverty level for your household. Including a new form can only help. Good luck.

What other joy is there but being with the one you love

Which form are you using? I-864?

Oh! I meant I-864. I already submitted that one once and got the RFE. Will follow the suggestions of the other poster and send in a new one with an employment letter as well as bank statements. They appear to be asking for 12 months of bank statements and I only sent 6 months.
