Hicham and I can't wait to get a dog when we have a bigger yard. He has no problems with it being inside and he is excited about having one around.

my fiance says he wants a dog. i was surprised.

then i come to find out he wants to keep it outside only.......that bothers me. i don't like the idea of getting a dog and not letting him in the house.

if i already had a dog and my fiance came and didn't like it...that would be tough. i'd really hope he could try and get over that and learn to compromise........ i don't have a dog now, but i have a cat and my cat is like my baby. i can't imagine him asking me to give him up because he doesn't LIKE him. if he was allergic thats another story..........

What kind of dogs does he like?

He likes bigger dogs which is why we would have to wait for a yard. I'm not sure about specific breeds but we have some time to decide that!

As much as I love cats and dogs, I find that they're dirtier than I want to accept for inside my house. :)

Allah tries his chosen people through many hardships, but those who persevere through adversity, surrendering themselves before the will of Allah, shall be blessed with a superb reward.

-The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as reported by Anas bin Malik

A time will come when the sky is torn apart; when the stars scatter, and the ocean drains away; and when the graves are tossed about, and laid open. At that time every man will be told what he has done, and what he has failed to do; and every woman will be told what she has done, and what she has failed to do.

-Qur'an, Al-Infitar, Surah 82:1-5

My parents have smaller dogs and they're not dirty at all. They never make messes in the house. We bathe them twice a month. Did you have a very dirty dog or cat before? What do you mean dirty?

Well, I mean if your pets go outside at all, then you either have to wash their feet every time they're going to come in the house, or they'll track the outside all over the inside.

I don't wear shoes inside the house and I like to keep tracking to a minimum.

Also, with cats... even if they're indoor cats, they use the catbox and walk around in it, then walk around all over your house - furniture etc and some people even let them walk on tables and counters.

Waaaaay too dirty for me.

Blech. :P

Pet Allergies? Zyrtec!

How can one claim God cares to judge a fornicator over judging a lying, conniving bully? I guess you would if you are the lying, conniving bully.

Our dogs are outside all day long and they never track anything anywhere. I have never wiped their feet when they went outside. Have you had a dog before?

Does he know what kind of dog he would like to get? My husband seems hung up on Huskies and German Shepherd Dogs, so when the time comes to get a new dog, we will have to fight it out . Does your cat like dogs?

Post pics of the pets!!!!
