I'm a US citizen. My wife has a green card.

Being a contractor I go to different cities (along with my wife) for my job and stay there (usually six months to an year).

My question is can I use one of my relatives address for her address for uscis or she needs to keep changing her address according to where she lives at that time?

As an LPR it is her responsibility to inform USCIS of her address change. She should file AR-11 every time she moves to a different place.

She cannot use another person's address if that is not her place of residence.

Do not forget that as her sponsor on the I-864 form that you also need to inform the USCIS of every move you make until the I-864 is not longer in effect. You complete the address change within 30 days of your move via the I-865 form.

You only have to inform the USCIS of a change in residence. If you are temporarily moving to these cities but have a residence where you intend to live once the job is over then that is not considered a move. This is the same as using the relative's address except that she may not intend to ever live at the relative's address. As long as you do not have a pending petition, the change of address using the on-line AR-11 is easy. Unfortunately you must mail in the I-865.
