Congratulations, i hope , if it mentions , your petition has been approved and the case will be forwarded to NVC, Congratulations you got the NOA 2 :). You will get a mail confirmation of this in sometime. For now, your case will be forwarded to NVC.

Now firstly be patient and do not rush.

After 14 days call NVC and inquire about if your case has been received.

Ask them for your NVC case number if they have issued.

The NVC phone number is very busy. Do not get demoralized. Patiently redial.

Just like your USCIS number now you will be checking your case status online but in a different site

ceac.state.gov

https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw==

Currently you won't be able to see your case status because you do not have your case number. Do not worry. Call NVC just like i said in 14 days.

(603) 334-0700 nVC phone number

After that you can check your case status from NVC

AT NVC means it is at NVC

In Transit means It is on the way to the home consulate of your fiancee

READY means your case is ready for an interview date.

Also before taking interview date there are certain supporting documents which you need to fulfill. It is called Packet 3. If you ask your foreign fiancee to check his/her US embassy site, the packet 3 is on the site itself. Packet 3 is a page consisting of what documents are required to move the case forward. So you would not need wait for the Embassy to contact your foreign fiancee but prepare your documents in advance.

The most important being Affidavit of Support which requires the original form to be parceled or posted to the foreign fiancee because most embassies will not accept scanned copies of this particular form.

Other required documents list will be on Packet 3.

Well you will get used to the process as time moves along but one advice for the future. Triple check everything. And please be patient :)

i hope i answered your queries.

The NOA2 is the approval notice for the I-129F. You will be sent a hard copy letter of it. Do not lose it. You will need it later for AOS.

Your case will now go through the NVC, be assigned a case # and then sent to your consulate. Here is the K-1 info from your consulate > http://www.ait.org.tw/en/fiance.html

Yes, we are in the same position although it took us a longggggggg time to get here unlike you. It took us 265 days or something like that to get our approval. Crazy right? Anyway, we were just approved earlier this month and now We are currently awaiting the NOA2 hardcopy. I will be making my call to NVC tomorrow as it will be exactly 2weeks since the petition was sent to their office so hopefully they will have our case number by now. After all the waiting I am so anxious to get the rest of this process overwith! :) Have you called yet?
