Rejection, "The check amount is incorrect..."

We sent in an Adjustment of Status with a concurrent I-130 filing. In the packet was a payment page itemizing the expected fees with an attached envelope containing two checks. The main cover letter indicated that the envelope contained all fees for all enclosed filings. The payment page itemized each form as follows: G-1145 $0, G-325 $0, G-325 $0, I-130 $430, I-693 $0, I-864 $0, G-325 $0, I-485 $985, I-131 included, I-765 included, Biometric $85. I enclosed the I-130 check for $430, and noted the I-130, the G-1145, and each G-325 on that check. I also enclosed the I-485/Biometric check for $1,070, and noted the I-485 , the Biometric, the I-693, the I-864, the 3rd G-325, the I-131, and the I-765 on that second check. They sent back four I-797C notices and only stated "The check amount is incorrect, or has not been provided." No other indication of what they wanted. What to do?

I-130 is $420 not $430.

Make sure all birthdays are correct. I had my check sent back for the reason you stated, but my check amount was "incorrect" because I had put the wrong birthday just something to check.

As stated above, the I-130 fee is $420, not $430. That was the reason for your rejection.

They might give you RFE as you stated G-325 not G-325A. Is it a typo?

One of my friend was using G-325 instead of G-325A, and she got RFE for that.
