Opt out from F1 to F2b

I had a concern about choosing to retain in f2b category rather than automatic conversion to f1 when the petitioner becomes a USC. I made a request at US embassy manila and got approved. My question is that, is it possible for me or to anyone on same situation to shift again to F1 category?

Because as i can see on the visa bulletin for philippines with regards to F1 category, its having a fast movement unlike before as compared to f2b which is considered much faster to move.

Before f2b is 2years ahead from f1, but on the upcoming july visa bulletin f1 move by 7mos and they are on the same year and f2b only move by a month. If this pace of movement continue most of f2b's will benefit from f1category..

I was really wondering if that's possible to shift again from f2b to f1 considering i requested to retain to f2b as a priviledge from CSPA...

Thanks APPLE21, i'll try that to email them. I could say movement of VB is really unpredictable! I hope either F1 or F2B makes a fast move this time for philippines, we are so left behind from other countries!!!

i am on the same boat as well. I just got approved for optout but after that, i noticed the F1 is getting so fast, now it is processing September 2004. I wonder if they can give us the option to switch back to f1 or whichever comes first.

We are not sure if the F1 will continue to be faster than F2b. I am observing the flow of our petitions to VB. I will observe the flow if F1 will be faster , then I will be decided to file for Naturalization. I have 2 F2b petition.

For October 2015 Visa Bulletin, F2B Philippines is again ahead by 4 years compared to F1. Now If our case is current in F1 at NVC can we opt out to F2B? How?
