Infopass and I-551

So, at least some of you are probably familiar with my dilemma at this point. Long story short, I still don't have my NOA1 in, I'm now week over the month mark, I have scheduled an infopass appointment in Nashville about 3 hours from here for next Tuesday. I could've got one earlier but I really wanted to wait this week out just in case. So now that it looks like I'll be going. I created the appointment due to the help and advice of the forum as much as I don't want to have to take the time off work ( as every time I do for such things my wife also needs to take time off because all my stuff is expired at this point and I can't drive ) I can't 100% cannot CANNOT leave it any longer, I've pretty much extended at work as far as I think they are reasonably willing to. So I need my license, I-551 as I've been told seems to be my only options.

I have no idea what to take, and I have no idea what to say. I have no valid docs at this point, and the only proof that I've sent anything is a fedex receipt and that they cashed the cheque. I don't know how this process works. And pretty much I can't be refused that's not a conversations I want to be having with HR or my Boss ( they don't get it they think i'm an illegal alien or something lol )

If you don't have your I-751 receipt by the Infopass appointment it's unlikely they'll be able to give you the stamp.

Have you tried to put a e-request there: https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do ?

They have a "did not receive a notice" option. I found that page yesterday, and it looks they the same thing as calling them and asking them for a service request.

With your A number, hopefully they should be able to look you up and send you a new one.

Problem is that the "receipt number" field doesn't look optional...

Also, I forgot, but did you call them? Did you talk to a tier 2 officer?

OP is really depressed and stressed. I think something is wrong with your address so your mail gets lost. I believe an e-request can be helpful as above member answered you.

And yes, I don't think they will help you anything at an InfoPass without the NOA1. All they do is to file a service request for you at the appointment.

Well that's a bummer considering I have tomorrow scheduled off which I can't afford and I've been assured that I'll get a 551 stamp on here there seems to be conflicting information. Also the first thing that asks for is a receipt number I don't have a receipt....

But have you tried calling them and asker to be transfer to a Tier2?

There is a phone number for USCIS: http://www.uscis.gov/about-us/contact-us/national-customer-service-center

That's the first thing to do. There is a option for "I don't have a case number", you will be transferred to a Tier 1. They are not very knowledgeable and usually read a script so ask to be escalated to a Tier 2. Call them, and let us know how it goes.

Who assured you you'll be getting a passport stamp? I think it's very unlikely you'll be getting one without an I-751 NOA.

I know, it would suck. But call them, like now if you can. Get things moving in case the InfoPass doesn't go anywhere.

If they've cashed the cheque then, given it's been about two months since you filed, the NOA probably got lost in the mail. At the Infopass you could probably ask them to re-issue it, but it isn't something they will print out for you. They will put in a request to mail you out another NOA, which will probably take another couple of weeks.
