Questions about CEAC website

I had my interview last month. After almost one month, I check the CEAC site and it says my visa is still under administrative processing. The waiting is so painful.

I have some questions about this site. The first one is what the case creation date is? Is it my interview date or another one? If it was the interview date, for my case, it should be "MAY" instead of "MAR". Another question is what "01" after my case number stands for?

Thanks in advance!

I believe case creation date is every time the embassy changed to the next steps. My date creation dated January 22nd, the day after my interview which was on January 21th. The number 01 I think who did the interview at first place. I was the first one on the line did the interview. I went to the embassy to get my visa on January 24th. Here my last status on CEAC:

NONIMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION

Issued

Application ID or Case Number: JAK2013xxxxxx 01 JAK

Case Creation Date: 22-Jan-2014

Status Updated Date: 23-Jan-2014

Your visa is in final processing. If you have not received it in more than 10 working days, please see the webpage for contact information of the embassy or consulate where you submitted your application.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Crearion date is when nvc asigned a case number.

Update date is every time that they touch your case.

In your case they asigned your case number on mars and the last time they touched your case was on june 13.

When they issue the visa your creation date will change to the date that they print the visa.

Yay! I hope so. My case creation date changed to june 27, 2014 same with my status updated date. But my status is still "ready"

But i believe that case creation date is when you was assigned a case number from NvC.

Congratulations, soon your visa will be issue.

When they change the creation date that mean your visa is ready to issue.

Congratulation :)
