Income for Sponsor should be above 125% above the poverty line for the last 3 years?

Hello. My wife is gonna be my sponsor. She is currently doing 29 thousand dollars a year, and our household is of 2. The 2014 parameters for the household of two is 19 thousand. Her income last year was higher than 19, but 3 years ago she barely worked.

Do you guys think this is gonna be an issue? Or that they only care about the last year?

They only care about her current income, the one on the 2013 income tax return.
