After how much time does NVC assign a case number and enter the case in the system?

My husband that is U.S. citizen just called NVC to ask them what our case number is (since our I-130 was approved June 11t) and the person on the phone told him they needed 25 days to receive the case and additional 30 days to enter the case into the system. Is this the time frame it usually takes? I would please ask you to tell me your experience in this. And how long does it take from the I-130 approval to the interview being appointed? Thanks a lot

Yep that's the time frame. Takes 4 to 8 weeks to arrive to NVC and be put n system. Some taking an additional 30 days to get case#. So expect from NOA2 to Case# 2 to 3 month wait. May be sooner. But that's the timeline.

Once you get case# and pay fees and no issues or errors it can be another 2 to 4 months for our embassy. You need to get to case complete first. It's hard to say the whole timeline when you aren't even there. But realistically from June 11th add 3 to 5 months till you get an interview.
