Finally noa2 after 8 months!

Hi everyone!

Today, I finally, finally got our NOA2!!!!!!!!! after 243days!!

It was the toughest time in my life, I was almost broken.. :crying:

We did have a lot of fights and argues these past months, but my fiancee has been always there to support me, I couldn't survive without him.

I'm truly happy now and I really hope everyone who's waiting for long like us will get NOA2 very soon!!

*We did everything we could such as service request, infopass, and getting help from congressman.

05/31/2017 - biometrics appt (Oxnard, CA)

06/19/2018 - ROC still pending with no news but that wonky glitch back in February, so we went ahead and filed for citizenship

Whoah, finally! Congrats! Must be such a relief for you guys! You're almost there ... :dancing:

Next is NVC where it may take 2-5 weeks from NOA 2, but you can contact them after 10 business days: http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/nvc/nvc-contact-information.html

I can't believe you had to wait sooo long, I can imagine how hard it has been and how frustrating it was to see people being approved after a couple of days. Big big CONGRATULATIONS on holding on and sticking together through this though time from noa1 to noa2

Congrats OP! Ridiculous that TSC is handling things so inappropriately.

Mirhen, my advice, don't look at CSC.

8 month.. it was very long journey.

I updated my timeline and will add more details soon!!

Oct 22nd : NOA1 hardcopy received

Apr ??? : 1st Service Request

Apr 18th : Received answers for Service Request. "Case pending for security check"

Apr 21st : 1st Infopass: Officer told us our case just passed security check, should receive answer in 30 days.

May 23rd : Contacted congressman for help

May ??? : 2nd service request

May 28th : Contacted senator

Jun 05th : Received answers for Service Request. "Case is still pending consideration"

Jun 10th : Received answer from congress man. "Your file will be pulled and should receive answer in 30-45days.

Jun 21st : NOA2 :goofy:
