Yay!!! Our baby can come home now. His visa has finally been issued. Joy, joy, joy! :-). Thanks everyone for your help.

Yippee! I knew you would be fine! So in retrospect, what do you think was the problem with the marriage certificate you submitted in your original I130? I will bring another copy of ours just in case!

Wendy, I am not sure, although my brother-in-law mentioned the fact that we married in Jamaica could be the issue. I am not sure if they actually told him that. He said a copy would have been fine had the marriage certificate been issued in the U.S., but because it was from Jamaica, they needed the original. Maybe because of Fraud?

Thank you. It is my second time around dealing immigration. My husband's case took over 2 years. I wish I were done with it all, but come next year we start again with the citizenship. At least our family will be whole
