I-765 filing fee

My wife, the intending immigrant, has an EAD that's about to expire this month. We're filing the AOS packet with an i-765. We're confused about which boxed to check mark located on the top of the form. Are we renewal, permission to accept employment, or replacement?

If she has the EAD from another visa then she needs to check permission to accept employment and she will need to wait for the new EAD (60-90 days after they receive your application) once the current one expires. There is no fee for an I-765 when filed with an I-485.
