What kind of binder are you planning to use?

I just used paper clips, binder clips to bind them all and placed everything in an envelope. Didn't staple or hole punch anything.

Just slide all your papers in the envelope and mail it off! Just use paperclips to keep similar items together.

It is a plastic binder the 3 ring type, but I am not punching holes or anything just sliding my docs into plastic clear covers I am even putting labeled section dividers ... Is it to much?

Yes, its a bit much. Don't slide your papers into plastic sleeves. When they get your package they will be hole punching the top of your papers and arranging them in their own folder, which means pulling out every piece of paper you put into the sleeves. Don't waste the time or money on this. Just slide your papers into the envelope and mail it.

~duplicate thread removed~

Welcome to the forum.

Likely too much, USCIS will disassemble your package and arrange it as they wish. :guides: Easily accessible at the top of the forum page. In particular, the VJ Form Assembly Tips for more information: http://www.visajourney.com/content/assembly

Good luck on your visa journey.

No need to use individual binders for your forms. Somebody at uscis will be removing your docs from any divider/ binder you used. But you can use this plastic cover for the pictures, if you're submitting any and if they're printed in photo paper. As also advised by Zedayn above, you can simply use paperclips and place them all in an envelope.

There is no rule on this.

I personally paper clipped each document, and also had a little sticky hanging off the side

with the document label, so that they can easily find things.

What's more important is that you make 2 to 3 copies of everything

and store them in secure location that you can find easily when necessary.

I also put all documents and pictures inside the large zipblock plastic bag

so that it doesn't accidentally get wet and damaged during the delivery.

Lastly, I used expressed mail to send it, so that I can track it.

I used the kind of binder where they can just slide the retaining clip and pull all the papers out. That is exactly what they are going to do and discard your binder, but it at least gives you a chance to present the documents to them in an organized fashion.

Just don't staple or hole punch the actual papers.

I used binder clips and just slid everything into the envelope. I originally had a binder, but figured I would save them the time of throwing that out. What happens to ALL those binders?
