Just wondering...

For those of you that have had your interview appointment. I have read many posts that mention the IO going over the N-400 application.

Here is my question.

Do they just read the questions and answers on the application or do they ask you the questions to see if your answer matches the N-400 application?

Thanks...

Every interview experience I have read on here says that the IO will quickly ask you either all of the questions on the N400 or just your biographical information (name, address, etc.) and then all of the yes/no (are you a terrorist, are you a communist, etc.) questions.

you have to answer it so they can confirm it to your application. They are giving you basically another chance to fix something if you had a mistake. Some officers skip some of the yes and no questions if they are related to each other as my officer did. Good luck.

Thanks for the replies. I have read a lot of posts on this forum as well and since the new form (N-400) has so many more questions than the previous versions, they would have to go very quickly to do the whole interview in 15 minutes like I have read, so I was just wondering.
