You mean like most any major city in America that has been run by liberal democrats for any period of time

And what Republican politician is vying to go and stop the violence?

Five of the top 50 according to who? I find it hard to believe that anything here compares to what is going on in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, the favelas in Brazil, Mexico, Honduras, etc, etc.

I thought my opinions carried so much weight Links were not needed.

Looks Like -Detroit , New Orleans, Baltimore, St. Louis .

Oh a friend of mine referred to a lawyer in court in California as a Jew, which he was. He was sued for a hate crime! Go figure.

Out of context, it's impossible to say. Jew can be used pejoratively of course, which is where the trouble lies.

45 on the list? Looks like we're declining thank God.

My mother has a bad habit of saying Jew. I'm trying to correct it.

That's by murder rate, which I guess is about the only standard to use, that and violent crime. Fifteen of the cities on the list are in Brazil, of which six of those are currently hosting World Cup games. So how dangerous is it? I'm guessing there are no statistics readily available for the places I'm thinking about, in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Libya, etc. I'm thinking of places where it's hidden, swept under the rug due to fear. Places where people are afraid to go to the market and live in constant fear. Places in Mexico where the Cartels rule. It's not just about murder in some of these places, IMO. I'll take Detroit or St. Louis any day.

He was trying to cut a deal with a seller and said over the phone lets meet up , talk things out, and let's keep the Jew out of it. (Referring to the seller's lawyer)

The Californian assoc of Jews or whatever heard a recording and sued him for a hate crime. Bit over the top IMO. Lol!!!

He'd have been better off saying let's leave the lawyer out of it. Just sayin'. I can see how it could be viewed as anti-Semitic, why call him 'the jew' when in fact he is 'the lawyer'. He lost a few bucks over a flippant comment. It's not like he got sent to jail or anything.

True to some extent, but I have never heard of a Christian or whatever suing a Jew for being called a goy. Very hypocritical IMO.

It's a funny story though ;)

I am surprised someone sued over it, but I sort of get why the suit would win. I'm lost again a 'goy'? Presumably that's a rabbinic word for a Christian? Do they use it pejoratively or descriptively or both?
