Long patience and faith. I monitored almost 24 hours, refreshing my dashboard almost every 3-5 mins. After 2 weeks i was able to grab a slot which 20 slots went so quick.sacrifice your sleep for few days and ask your fiancee to do it alternatively. I heard medical will expire for 3 months only unlike before which is 6 months. Not sure

medical is valid for 6 months. I just had mine last June 4. Good luck to the OP and I hope you get your appointment soon!

To clarify "some": Medicals are good for 6 months, unless a person is found to have TB then the 2nd medical after DOT is completed is valid for only 90 days.

You need to have originals and copies of documents - birth certificate, marriage certificate, decree of divorce or annulment (if applicable), etc. All of that info is on the State.gov site as well as on the US Embassy Manila site.

And, yes, you must have your taxes done with your 1099 and supporting evidence - bank statement, letter from bank, etc.

And, it appears that you're married? and filing for IR1 or CR1 visa?

You cannot use Form I-134 - you have to use I-864... http://www.uscis.gov/i-864%C2'>

If you married last year - you MUST file as married - I suggest Married Jointly - not filing married as single...better tax break. You might have a problem, though. You will need to get a tax ID # for your wife - ITIN. However, if your wife is going to be eligible to get a SSN when she arrives, the IRS might not issue an ITIN. Your wife must file for the ITIN on a W7 tax form. You have to send that form in with your taxes. It sounds as though you have not yet filed your taxes. Now is a good time to get things in order!!!

Once you've received your NOA2 and your case goes to NVC, you will be required to provide that information and pay fees.

Once your case goes to Manila, your wife will have her hands full getting everything that is required assembled there.

You really need to read up on all of the requirements on the USCIS website, the State Department and the US Embassy Websites...and, a lot of info is right here on VJ. You've got your work cut out for you.

Good Luck

Are you talking the petitioner, being you are asking about I-134, 1099, divorce decree?

You are IR/CR-1 you do not use the I-134, you use the I-864, and copies of the 1099 and most recent tax return are fine. Embassy does not ask for a copy of the petitioner's birth certificate. CFO on the other hand will ask to see a copy of the petitioner's birth certificate.

For the beneficary follow the embassy instructions letter:
