I am at the I-864 AOS stage in my journey withe NVC. I want to know if it is recommendable to include a joint sponsor, even though I meet the poverty guidelines myself? I barely meet the requirements, however I do meet them. Also, I want to avoid getting another RFE or checklist like I did in the USCIS stage of my journey, which delayed us about to eternally long months. My thought was to meet and EXCEED the requirements. What do you think?

How long have you met the poverty requirements? Ie only since a new job of a couple of months, a year, several years in the same, stable job?

I have 2 jobs, one of which I just started just last month. The other I have been working since 2010. However my last three years of federal tax returns also exceed the poverty guidelines.

You are fine with your income as long as meet and exceeds for the last three years. Also get letter from your employers allegedly this optional but I have heard of people getting RFE for this.
