None of that matters in regards to what I said. She was impeding a law enforcement officer, and endangering public safety both are arrestable offenses no matter where you are or who the cop is.

The woman was stopped for suspicious activity, that's all they need. I get you don't care for overzealous LEO's and neither do I, but let's not pretend that the woman in the video was within her rights to do what she did, she wasn't. She could have been arrested for at least two offenses immediately. The cop was completely inept, so inept, I wonder if the video is a fake.

FTR, the campus cops here are actually members of the local City Police. I think that makes them real. Not sure how other schools handle it.

In reference to the first video, while she was being a witch, she was within her rights. She even put her hand out to take the ticket and he refused to hand it to her. The only "safety" claim I could see was that she might grab his hand and slam him with the car door while he was unable to pull away. Very small concern for someone stopped for a traffic citation since he already had run her plates and DL. I think it was funny the citation was seen being blown away by the wind while he was arresting her.

As to the second video, you must have reasonable suspicion to detain someone. In her case they were attempting to detain her because she refused to have her vehicle searched...something which everyone has a right to refuse. Simply a refusal to submit to a search is not reasonable suspicion to detain someone.
