Visa APPROVED & ISSUED

...Finally! Phew....it was a somewhat tough road but we finally got there. I am just so glad this part is over and we can finally get some sleep.

My fiance had his interview April 10th and after the interview received a 221(g) form to provide a more recent copy of his police certificate even though what he had was less than 1 year old. needless to say, we were put on Administrative Processing for nearly 2 months. That part was difficult. It almost became obsessive checking the ceac website every 5 minutes of every day lol. It took them about 2 months to approve the visa but I must say it's all worth it in the end.

Thank you to everyone sharing your inputs and to this website for providing so much info. I used this website for everything and will continue using it for what's to come...cause God knows it's not over :)

Good luck to everyone still going through this journey!
