Today my husband received a letter from USCIS stating it is time for him to remove conditions. I'm excited and stressed, it's another daunting stage of immigration and I'm not looking forward to. We just bought a house and we are moving next week so right now I'm in the middle of packing and cleaning the house we live in now. Wish us luck!!!

Good luck! :)

Just be aware that USCIS sends the reminder notice slightly before the 90 days (at least they did send on our case) so don't send your package before it's exactly 90 days before expiration of the 2 years greencard. USCIS is very strict with the 90 days (even if your file arrives to USCIS 91 days before expiration date, they will send your file back to you.)

But otherwise I bet all will be fine! Especially if you just bought a house - that's a great proof of financial co-mingling!

Cheers!

Good luck to you! Having a house in your names is great evidence. It'll go smoothly, I am sure.

Good luck! :) We waited 2 days after the 90 days past to send the package. We wanted to make sure doesn't get there to soon. Some months have more or less days, so we checked when exactly 90 days were from the green card expiration date.

Sounds like fun. Be careful where you pack that evidence so you can find it in your new home. We're in the middle of ROC right now, and it will be really nice to say goodbye to USCIS for the next ten years, or until she applies for citizenship. Something I'll encourage her to do just so we need not deal with them again.

I got the notice yesterday after it was sent to my old address (I swear I changed my address with USCIS the day I moved into my new place) and then forwarded by USPS to my new address. Freaked me out!! I thought my window had opened and I had made a mistake calculating 90 days from my PR card expiration!!
