NEW YORK — A man recently exonerated in a 1989 New York City killing that happened while he was visiting Disney World filed papers Tuesday outlining plans to seek $162 million from the city, one of his lawyers said.

By filing what's called a notice of claim, Jonathan Fleming has made a first move toward suing the city over case that put him in prison for nearly 25 years. He was freed and his conviction dismissed in April after the Brooklyn district attorney's office said it now agrees he had a valid alibi.

That's the crazy part. He had video, pictures, witnesses, and receipts to prove he was out of the state when the murder took place.

Pretty much. They had one witness that placed him at the scene of the crime. Who recanted and said she testified against him for a reduced sentence. Nothing shady about that.

Injustices are part of life, if you sit around all day do nothing but reading tales from the root of yet another prime example of whitey keeping you down, you are going to become bitter and resenful and get a negative attitude on the world

GWB Jr. must have busted his butt to get to the Oval office. Not like he had any type of clout like politicians in the family. Oops, forgot his father was president. I think Clinton was one of the few who didn't have an inside track(if he did, please provide the information). Old Ronald Reagan didn't have any help, except the whole Hollywood thing going for him.
