Hi guys,

So I received an RFE back in April for the petitioner's most recent tax return...in the original AOS package, I sent a copy of my W2...pay stubs....letter of employment etc; but not the tax return because I hadnt filed my taxes yet...so when I got the RFE...I only sent my 1040 and 1040ez but like an idiot I didnt put a copy of my W2 thinking that the officer already had it with my original file....im still on RFE under review since April 23rd...is this a big problem?

Thanks guys

We got an RFE, mailed back on May 19th and case status updated to RFE review on May 21st. It is still on RFE review as of this morning. I called last week and spoke with immigration officer and was told everything looks good, and she told me to wait the 60 day time frame from date they received RFE reply for status change.

You should call them and ask to talk to a Tier2 to know if they received it. BTW, it's best to send them tax transcripts from the IRS. You can order them for free through the IRS website, and get them in about a week. You should request it right now so you have it ready in case they send you another RFE.

They did receive it but they are still reviewing it apparently (the website says that) I just downloaded my tax transcript today! I wish I had known about the tax transcripts way before this stupid RFE and I wouldnt be stressing...I have it ready just in case I get another RFE...thanks for your help! Ill try to speak to an office about it...

Maybe its just the website status that is not updating...the wait is stressing me out...I havent been able to call USCIS because when i leave work they are closed...at least you have some reassurance which is good! Let me know if you have any updates best of luck..
