Need help from the Jordanian MENA's

our first furnished apt was off Navine near Univeristy Street by the McDonalds and BK. It cost us 300 for the month. I found two places with pretty good airfare...

they have tickets for me at $857.00 a pc round trip

also email diane and tell her where and when and she does great work with getting me there cheaply, I had friends call and say hey I know wendy who goes to jordan all the time... she gives her discount to them!

I rented a car for 20.00 day. I would have to ask my husband however where it was...I got lost returning it..LOL I am directionally challenged!

I want a real falafel sandwich on University Street. And I want to share it with Mohammmed knowing I don't have to leave him behind. I am going to talk to him tonight and explain the reasons to go. A few brothers married in his time away, some babies were born. We need to go.

Jac....we found rentals for 10$ per day if u rented more than a week...i ebt u could rent a furnished apt for under 200$ we always did, and one more thing!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE TAKE ME WITH YOU....my mother in law is leaving february 10th...are u planning on anytime around there?

I have the bestest most generous husband in the world!

Total suprise for his family, we will try to keep it a secret from most of them. Just counted how many gifts,,,,30! lol time to shop. I am over the moon excited!

I guess a separate suitcase. JP how do I travel with that many gifts? I am at a loss what to bring. There are 4 sisters, 5 brothers, 3 BIL's, 3 SIL's, mother, father, 11 nieces & nephews, and grandma.

I am still in glorious shock!

yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!! Well I labeled all the gifts and put them in one suitcase. You each get 2 suitcases, 50 lbs each. I think you can get it all in one and then some.

you can go over by 20 lbs but you pay Extra for it... plus dont forget your carry on... you can stuff some in there...

All the brothers smoke,,,would a nice lighter be good? There is a store here with Calabri (?) lighters for like $10 each. I am overwhelmed at the amount of people he wants to bring gifts for! But I do realize the importance of that to him.

We got out the photo album and looked thru it last night, and I saw a glow on Mohammed's face that I haven't seen in a long time. He is so excited. So much to do! I need to plan what to wear, and of course lose 15 pounds before the trip . Thanks sparkgroup

Jac.....Im flippin excited for you....gosh, moh must be exstatic.....u know....we have been shopping ( me and sofyans brothers wife) since his mom got here we had like 40 people to buy for....we got all the little girls like fake bratz dolls from the dollar store (i know its cheap but they will LOVE THEM) and we also got each girl 2 outfits, a dress, and a play outfit....all the young nephews got shoes...my sister in laws of course wanted makeup, and maybeliine was 50% off at jewel last week so i stocked up...the brothers got a dvd player....and some other random things for the family....things will come to you, like ideas for gifts, so good luck...so how long do u guys plan on staying? at least 10 days i hope! and a surprise visit? his family will melt when they see u two standin outside their door....

last thing i wanted to say....BRING WARM CLOTHES...my in laws have told me ajloon and irbid are freezing in february

Every time I go to Jordan it is a heat wave, so I think it will be a relief to have cooler weather. Mohammed mentioned tonight that I will want my warm jammies and slippers. I am soooooooo happy we made this decision.

We will be there 10 days and a total suprise! We are researching whether to rent the car in Amman, or take a taxi to Alhusn and rent one up there. His family will be shocked when we walk in. It will probably be about 9pm when we get there.
