My wife applied for citizenship and had her fingerprints taken. Yesterday we received yellow slip. It said that she needs to bring to her interview the following:

1) 2 passport photos

2) Driver's license

3) Any other passports/ travel documents either expired or active.

What does this mean? She did send her passport photos. Why do they need her DL and foreign passport?

They need her foreign passport to check all the trips she has taken since she became a permanent resident. This is so they can confirm that she hasn't spent too much time outside the US.

They need her DL both as proof of identity and to show that she is a resident of the state in which she is applying.

I don't know why they ask for two more passport photos.

She will also need her green card.

They're simply reminding her to bring her these to her interview, Everyone is required to bring their state drivers license or state id and their passport. Totally normal

They still want the extra photos even though they will probably not even take them from you. The Naturalization Certificate picture is taken from the Bio appointment...

That is a standard letter.

The passport is to make sure the length of travel outside the US.

Driver's license as JimmyHou said is for making sure you have been a resident long enough in your district.

The photos are actually to make sure that they are new and maybe you want a better looking one. Sometimes the picture in the naturalization certificate doesn't print right so they use those photos to either staple it or glue it.

Good luck.
