Hello Guys,

I am new here but already gathered some information on EAD/AP/AOS,

Let me introduce myself,

I am from Germany and did my MBA here in the US, i met my fiance and we are getting married in Germany (Church Wedding) on the 19th of May. We and 10 people (her family and some friends) will leave on the 13th of May.

Over Christmas in Germany I got all my documents and I will get the Medical this week.

Today I got scared after I saw the processing times for AP.

If we sent our documents and file for AOS/EAD/AP I got scared that we wont have the AP by 10th of May.

The other option would be that we file when we come back and I travel on my J-1 which is valid until 31.6..

But then I have the problem that my J-1 Work permission runs out before the EAD arrives...

Thats really tricky, what would you guys say..

File beginning of February and hope that AP gets here before 10th of May.

or fly to Germany get married in Church there

and File AOS end of May and Hope that EAD gets here before J-1 Work permission runs out on 31.8

Markus
