ROC date is 8/2/2014 and still waiting for replacement GC

USCIS misspelled my wife's middle name, and it took over a year to notice it. She has two first names, and the USCIS smashed :protest: her second into the middle one.

Our Secretary of State caught it when she obtained her Driver's Temporary Permit.

We made an infopass appt last Nov. 24, 2013 and were advised to return it via an I-90. They restamped the I-551 at that time, and we sent it off expecting it to be corrected within a few months. Now it has been longer than six months, and we received an I-90 biometric appt. letter for July 7. And also informed to bring all proofs and identifications. Can anyone advise whether I will have the GC in time for ROC? What happens if I do not get it in time? Keep waiting for how long? The Removal of Conditions will just repeat the entire process a few weeks later. Thanks for any advice.

If you haven't received the new green card by the time it's time to file for RoC, enclose a copy of the I-551 passport stamp, as well as a copy of the biographical information page, as well as perhaps a covering letter indicating why you cannot include the original green card in the application.
