My husband was approved for CR1 visa and entered the US last week. I have still not changed my last name. What are the effects of changing my name now? Will this create any issues when we apply to remove conditions on my husband's 2 year conditional green card?

Also, we do not have an original marriage certificate. We only have copies of the marriage certificate.

Changing your name or not changing you name has absolutely no affect on the immigration process--this is a personal choice and up to you and your husband. Are the copies certified or have some other way to show they are official from the issuing agency? If not, you might want to see about getting certified copies, but ordinary copies are fine according to the USCIS instructions.

How you change your name after marriage varies by the state you live in. You should be able to google the following phrase and find out "how to change your name after marriage in Your State Name". But often its just by bringing your marriage certificate and changing it on your drivers license, SS card and then tell any accounts you have to change your name.
