I got a notification that my I-765 was just approved today, so that might be why they focused on that confirmation.

I resubmitted my I-485 address change online at my lawyer's request.

I submitted another request as well on June 25th and still hadn't gotten anything. Did you get a paper confirmation?

I just called the USCIS and they said it popped up in their system that I had already submitted a change of address because they were going to do a service request for me over the phone. They said they will attempt to send out the confirmation mail again, and if I don't receive it in 30 days, to call back.

All I'm concerned about is the address being changed in the system for when they send my GC, and I'm hoping my IO can confirm that at the interview.

I submitted a change of address ahead of time, last week, for my I-485 and I-765. So far, I only got confirmation that the I-765 change of address went through. This is fine because I am not out of the place yet (i.e. can still get the mail), and the petitioner isn't changing his address until September, when we'll BOTH move. But, eeek, now you're making me scared of what we'll have to go through with changing addresses and trying to make sure we get the mail from them at the right place.

Never got any confirmations for the I-485 (online, ail or email), but left it alone and went to the interview. The officer told me the address had only been changed on the I-130 and the I-485 (after all that work!) so she changed it on the spot for the I-485 so the green card would be sent to the right place.

I haven't received it yet, but I'll let you know how it goes. Definitely bring it up during the interview regardless!

I got e-mail/text notification this morning that my address for the I-485 has been updated, but now it says my I-485 is at Initial Review. Is my interview on Friday still in place? I have the same office so I don't think that would affect it, but now I'm worried.

Unless you hear otherwise specifically, yes, it's still happening. It's a glitch when they change the address. They should fix it in a day or two.

I got a notification that my green card was shipped to the right address, so there's hope regardless!

Thank you!

I guess I'l mention my I-765 at the interview, unless the reason it's not updating is because I already have the card?

Just an update (and not a good one): my green card was delivered today to my old address. No amount of submitting changes online, at the interview, or having my mail forwarded helped :(

Trying to figure out what to do next.

Ah I'm sorry to hear that! Luckily my old address is at my mother-in-laws house, so I'm not super concerned if it does for some reason go there, I'd just rather it not since my wife and I are not on speaking terms with her currently.
