Money in fiancee's bank. Does it really matters?

Any idea about ideal amount of money/deposits does CO's look at fiancee's bank statement during the interview?

Or its W2 and ITR more important?

Embassy requires a copy of the most recent tax return and W-2, the don't ask for bank statements. They look for income that meets the poverty guidelines of the I-864P. If your income does not meet the poverty guidelines then you need to look toward a co-sponsor, the embassy does not give much consideration to assets.

I was just worried because his savings are stated on the affidavit of support form I-134. Not that too high for my fiancees savings. Just an enough bank money. But we do have 3 recent yrs W2 and ITRs and had an annual of 25,990 for 2013

Don't go by the instructions for the I-134, that form is used for many different purposes, go by the embassy instructions letter as to what is required for the interview. Bank statements are not needed.

The embassy ONLY asks for the most recent tax return, NOT three years, they will only accept the most recent tax return - even if you try to hand them other years they will not take them.

Only information needed is income. Deposits in the bank or such not needed, leave that space blank. Like said this form is designed for other purposes, for the K-1 visa interview the embassy wants income listed and the most recent tax return and W-2.

In the instructions letter from the Manila Embassy, this is what you need:

k. EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT. You should be able to demonstrate that you will not become a public charge or be a burden on the U.S. taxpayers for financial support. A completed I-134 Affidavit of Support Form with original signature will be useful to the consular officer to evaluate your petitioner’s ability to be financially responsible for you. You should also submit your petitioner’s most recent U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Employment letters stating salaries and bank statements may be included to substantiate the I-134. Download Form I-134 at http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis.
