Based on personal experience MOM cost was the least at $85, results were returned the same day, and my wife did not encounter any bogus tests. Other personal experiences may vary. Keep in mind all the clinics are still in "Russia". All the staff is "Russian".

My (now) wife used MOM and had no problems. They provided the results the same day and gave her the option of having the required injections (for AOS) there for a reasonable fee or having them done in the US. She got the injections there. No complaints and no bogus tests. The medical was done last March.

They also gave her an extra copy of the vaccination worksheet which is VERY VALUABLE when doing AOS. Be sure to get it wherever you have the medical done.

My wife did hers in Vladivostok, so if your finacee is closer to the East Side, that's the place to go.

As far as Moscow, the reviews are mixed. Pick one and go.

My girl used MOM and got the results the same day. She told the nice woman at MOM that people on the internet said they were rude. And MOM said tell those people we are not:) and put in a good word for us. So there it is. The appeal of MOM is same day results. Having her medical on Monday and interveiw on Tuesday kept my fiancee's trip shorter.

Thanks Slim for the advice. She was able to get a copy of the shot records while she was there.

Natasha used Medicina, it was very pleasant for her and after talking with her close friend that went to MOM, it seems it was much more professional and comfortable.

I'm sure each persons experience varies widely, however after hearing about broken equipemnt, false results on tests and multiple claims of harrasment at MOM, she decided (and I agreed) that it was worth a few extra $$ to have a more relaxing atmosphere adn peace of mind, and odds were on Medicina providing that for her. And it was so.

Didn't one of these clinics have a harp playing in the lobby? That's some high-end medical care!

Elena was telling me the other day (after seeing our public health system... what a treat! How do people that get free health care afford cell phones? Anyway.) about the public health in Russia. She said it was OK at most places, but if you paid money for a private clinic, they get you right in and right out, serve you with coffee/tea, massage, etc. Almost like a health spa. Sounds nice. I wonder if we had something like that here if I'd actually go to the doctor more. Probably not. That whole "turn your head and cough..." thing gets me every time.

Natasha mentinoed music in the in the lobby fresh brewed coffee at several stations on each floor, a comfy padded recliner ..umm something like a dental chair, i think instead of a standard exam table.. AH! Also, she saw two girls there that wanted to get their results at their same visit, and they got them just by explaining to the admins she had to go back to work for one girl, and was only able to have a room for the stay for a short time for another girl.

Oh, and Slim.. If the "turn your head and cough" gets you.. wait until you get closer to the dreaded 40 and get to experience to marvels of prostate care!! :jest:
