OK I got my NOA letter in the mail today, it says it's been extended for a year. Receipt date 9-11.

I also see they are trying to get the check today through online banking.

I read the archives .. and need a quick clarification on this

If you file your USCIS Form I-751 (Petition to Remove the Conditions on Residence) on time, the USCIS will extend your conditional resident status for up to 12 months while your Form I-751 petition is under review.


Me: You will be mailed a letter receipt for your I-751 stating the above. Carry it and your expired Green Card as proof of your continued status as a PR. ie: Nothing Changes. "

Can I travel outside the country ? Since the g.card is expired but if I were to bring the I-751, it should be ok right ?

If I understand your question correctly: no, you cannot travel outside with your expired green card and with the form I-751. You can travel with your expired green card and the NOA letter that you get in the mail after you sent in your I-751 form along with the other necessities...

I sent mine to Vermont on 09/11 and was received by them on 09/12. Can someone add me to the list.

BTW everyone from CSC is getting there NOA in 2 days while Vermont applicants haven't received anything. Why the delay?

I sent mine to Vermont on 09/11 and was received by them on 09/12. Can someone add me to the list.

It is my experience they (VSC) has always been slower than CSC.
