So, foremost you guys are the best! To share my story. I got approved 05/21/2015. I got a text message, I actually called yesterday the 20th to ask about my case and they told me to wait till after the September 29th date on the timeline website changed. My NOA1 date = September 29th 2014. My Biometrics was in October (cannot remember the date as I am typing from work and don't have my paperwork with me). After 6+ months I asked for a service request on April 20th and was told to expect an answer by May 5th. Instead of an answer I got "Our records show that your I-751 is currently pending adjudication. We regret that we are unable to provide you with a completion date at this time. We apologize for the delay. You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this letter. " I, like PlamJordan11 got that message so just hang in there your answer is on its way. I filed with USCIS on September the 25th 2014.

Congrats LagLaHou! Could you let me know whether you received an approval letter in mail yet? I got approved on May 19 but still no approval letter... Started to get worried... Thanks!

Congrats CoCo_2014. Yes, I got a letter in the mail which in turn was how I found out that the approval was on the 18th and not the 21st the date it was updated online.

Yeah, just starting to study for the civics test

Dude...there is nothing to study about. These are all the questions one can answer if they watch, CNN, Fox, Cspan and/or History channel. and you still may be a ways out...Sept is when you can apply earliest....i would think its atleast 4 to 6 mo. after that is when you will get to do the civic test.

I made the service request on 50/05. They assigned the service request to someone on 05/13. They responded on the service request on 05/18.

So they really just happened to lose your case somewhere in the clutter of boxes they have LOL. Good thing they actually took your service request seriously and had processed it so "fast" only after 8 months!

Yeah. I am somewhat curious about whether that little nudge sped up things or it's just a coincidence. I guess we will never know.
